But people here are speaking about getting a 200ms latency wich is very different. And that's why i get a 40-50ms latency when i play on a server located in NA or Asia with my 300mb/s fibre connexion instead of having a ping score between 10-20ms for a server located in Europe. You could have the best connection on the planet and still get ping over 200 from Aus to Europe. But sadly he didn't found an actually valid and believable reason.Originally posted by RoninJames:Its a crazy little thing called distance. I guess Private Profile (a.k.a.: OP) already decided that he will openly hate this game. But sadly he didn't found an actually valid and believable reason.:D Just like in the old Deablo 2 days where you had the and local characters. But yeah you need to start a fresh character. :DĪnd Wolcen will still have offline play if servers are down. Thats the only thing I can think of lol So you mean a scenario which is heavily unlikely to occure and you need to be extremely unlucky to have server issues at the exact same time your friends are over at your place and is even lasting so long that it is jeopardising your whole Weekend or day long LAN party for it's whole duration? :D We used to do LAN parties on the 90's and early 20's where the circumstances were much more fragile concerning the requirements needed to be able to play our games on LAN, but even so we always managed to play and/or that's why we always had plan Bs for other games too. Let say you plan on having a LAN party with friends, everyone brings their computers and the wolcen servers goes into maintenance for X times. You know, you can still connect 2 PCs to the same router. But if you want to do a LAN-Party with friends. Couch coop games are a dying genre sadly. What does LAN give you above online multiplayer? If you would say "no split-screen, no buy" i would understand. Originally posted by ZOOTSツ: Just curiouse.
